Two of us went to visit a church on the outskirts of Bulawayo, Zimbabwe a couple of weeks ago. At Sunday worship there were lots of children and lots of grandparents and no adults between 18-40. We were told they had either died of an AIDS related illness or gone off to a government sponsored camp.
We were warmly welcomed during the service and afterwards greeted members of the congregation as we shared peace with one another.
