We're rising up! St. Marks is a lively, growing church and we're branching out over the next few months into some new areas - see below for a taster...Happening in May:
- Essence - 6 week group for young mums & their children on christian spirituality. Dates: 2nd/9th/16th/23rd May & 6th/13th June. Meet at St. Marks @ 12.30 to go together.
- Sun. 6th May 1-3pm Church community gathering: time to plan ahead for next 5-10 years as a church community. Bring your visions, hopes, dreams, prayers! Hear stories of other churches lives for encouragement and ideas!
- Sun. 29th May 6.30pm The Word Made Fresh @ Lymm Baptist Church, Lymm. See more details on www.unexpected.org.uk £5
- 25-27th May - Inspire! A Colourful Weekend of family-friendly fun with parachutes and play! (yes, it's the bank hol. weekend!) Sat. 10.30am-3.30pm & Sun. 1-5.30pm. Fairtrade light refreshments on sale.
- Sun. 27th 6-7pm (monthly) SoulSpace - for your body mind & spirit @ St. Marks church. Theme: rainbow - colour in our lives. Especially for ages 20s-40s .Refreshment with colour, music, anointing with oil and colour prayer - come and find out more! Bring someone!
Happening in June:
- Essence group continues on 6th & 13th June 1-2.30pm. Meet at St. Marks @ 12.30 to go together.
- Bible Readathon! Hear stories of Jesus read aloud @ St. Marks church. Part of the Unexpected Campaign across Greater Manchester with the Bible Society. Dates & times here soon!
Happening in July:
- Sun. 29th July 6-7pm SoulSpace for your body mind spirit @ st. marks church. Theme: summer - seasons of our lives. When Woodhouse Park author Tony Scally reads part of his book 'Eyebrows and Other Fish'. Refreshment with fruit smoothies, outdoor space and discussion.
