We're preparing to launch our new vision and mission in Wythenshawe! We're praying, chatting, listening to each other and those not part of church and seeking to continue to move outward to meet people where they are in Wythenshawe.
The following is being explored & mission aims are being shaped by church leadership team to share on Sun. Nov. 2nd at a large church meeting; the third in our process this year.
Our vision is of people’s lives changed by Jesus
through sharing the Good News of Jesus of faith, hope, love & peace in words & actions in Wythenshawe.
· Our vision is of a faith-filled Wythenshawe with a network of disciples of Jesus in different groups across Wythenshawe. In these mission groups people find belonging, flourish, grow, are loved & share with other people.
· Our vision is of a hope-filled Wythenshawe with God changing the lives of teenagers, children & adults with care & respect for each other, breaking down barriers & sharing hope.
· Our vision is of a love-filled people, passionate about Wythenshawe & about sharing Jesus with people in Wythenshawe in open & down to earth ways.
· Our vision is of a peace-filled Wythenshawe where there is no more violence; people feel safer on the streets & at home, where people look after each other & care for people who are vulnerable.
