Dandelion Food Community launches this weekend!

The Dandelion Food Community is launching this weekend 11am-2pm at St. Marks United Reformed Church. A bunch of local people from Woodhouse Park have begun to sow seeds of new ways of buying and sharing food together - food which is mainly local and seasonal - from within about 40 miles. Fresh fruit and veg will be sold from the market stall at a families fun day and a regular food buying group has been set up. Come along to join in together! The first 20 customers to spend £3 or more will get a free canvas shopping bag! Look out for our food banner outside the building THIS Saturday. After that we're meeting every Weds 3.30-4.30pm together to grow, buy, eat and share food - fresh and home/locally grown. See you on Saturday!
