Prayer Breakfast Info:
Starting from Tuesday 1st to Saturday 6th May, 8.00-9.00pm Pray Love Manchester is hosting a morning of a light breakfast, prayer focus with visiting speakers to lead our time. Venue St Ann’s Church.
Upper Room:
From Tuesday 1st May an upper room has been put to one side at St Ann’s church from 8.00am until 10.00pm for the duration of the week and then individual churches are taking over the prayer vigil during the night and early hours of the morning. The room will be fitted out with prayer stations to direct your time in the room, and there’ll be an opportunity to give and receive prayers through the different prayer station activities. You’ll be given all kinds of media to help you in your prayers, including music, art materials, maps and photos. Through the website you can leave prayer requests or you can send them to info@praylovemanchester.com We would really encourage you to sign up to pray for an hour (or more) in the ‘Upper Room’!
Evening programme:
- Mon 30th April, 7.30pm at St Ann’s Church, Worship from Madeleine Kerzner (find out more about her) and Pray Love Manchester Band. Speaker Rev Neil Hudson senior leader of Salford Elim Church and a part of LICC. A night of vibrant worship, fervent prayer as we set the tone and launch a week of 24/7 prayer for our city.
- Tue 1st May, 7.30pm at St Ann’s Church. Emma Gaze (Ivy Manchester) and others an evening praying for youth groups and churches.
- Wed 2nd May, 7.30pm at St Ann’s Church. This night we will be praying for those on our streets and for charities that work with those marginalized in our society. We will have with us guests from Barnabas, Bethel, Boaz, Community Chaplaincy, Mustard Tree and Street Pastors, this is just a reflection of how the Church is responding to the marginalized in our city. We are especially honoured to be joined by our guest by George Verwer the founder of Operation Mobilisation.
- Thurs 3rd May, 7.30pm at St Ann’s Church. A focus of prayer for our schools with input from Barry Mason (More than Gold; Sports director with YFC National) and Lorraine Leonard (Salford youth ministry co-ordinator, Catholic Church). Worship lead by !Audacious Church.
- Fri 4th May, 7.30pm at Methodist Central Hall, Oldham Street. We are really excited to have Prayer Storm leading this night. The Prayer Storm team will be leading us in enthusiastic determined worship to enter the presence of God.
- Sat 5th May 7.30pm, at St Ann’s Church. We will be working hard all week to invite all those that don’t know Jesus along to this night of music, with bands MaLokai, Twelve24, !Audacious Band and Genetik.
- Sun 6th May, 7.30pm, at St Ann’s Church. This night is different than the structure of the other nights, and is a chance to be still before God. TAIZE is a candle lit service of prayer silence and song.
- Mon 7th May, 7.30pm, at St Ann’s Church. A night of gathering stories from the week and praising God. We are really excited that Blue Tree, the writers of one of the most prophetic songs written in this prophetic movement ‘God of our City’, are joining us.
Saturday 5th May, at St Ann’s Church, from 12.00noon, an afternoon of outreach (until 4.00pm). Anyone can be involved, we would ask that those under 16 be accompanied by an adult.
