wythenshawe - the context of the buildings and green spaces

This is a film showing a variety of spaces in Wythenshawe with no comments or voiceover but some jazz music! I am sharing it here to give those of you who dont know the context of The Dandelion Community in Wythenshawe a taster of the place where over 85,000 people live in South Manchester. Its a few years old and there have been more improvements in the buildings in the area since this was filmed but its still good. About 8mins 26 seconds there is a showing of St. Marks Church, Portway which is the former name of The Dandelion Community - we are still based here and part of The United Reformed Church including sharing Sunday morning worship services with a small group of about 15-20 older people 11am-12noon and during the week share in a Monday morning Gardening Group 10am-12.30midday, Tuesday evening Community Art Night 7.30-9pm and are currently running a weekly Mindfulness course and a monthly Red Tent Manchester womens group meeting the first Saturday of each month 7.30-9pm. So anyway, this is a taster of what some of Wythenshawe looks like.
