You will participate in community life 5 days a week including Sunday worship. You will be an active Christian in a christian community. You will offer 2 references - 1 personal and 1 from your christian community. You will be willing to listen, learn, lead, love and laugh! Soon we will translate this post into mandarin and spanish so we are able to reach many more people however you will need to have basic conversational English to apply and will also need to be able to cover your international travel costs to get to Manchester.
You will be offered an induction programme and tour of Manchester and the local area, accommodation, local travel expenses, some food, weekly days/times off, opportunity to travel in UK and Europe, a letter of invitation (should you need one) for a visa and regular supervision and support, opportunity to practice your English and make some long-lasting friendships.
We especially need volunteers in the areas of art/design, community development, gardening, information technology and business management for 2014.
